Kim is always such a pleasure to chat to – always full of energy, excitement for triathlon and zest for life. We last spoke to Kim a few weeks out from racing the Ironman World Championships ahead of her Kona debut.
Kim turned pro in 2015, won her first 70.3 in Argentina in 2016 and has years of pro racing, podium finishes and aspirations of getting back to Hawaii in the future.
Check out the video where Kim talks motivation for training, her favourite kit, ducks & horses, pre race nerves and more. We find out what she’s been up to in lock down, apart from running a sub 3 hour marathon and becoming Ironman VR5 Watt Bomb Champion – where she hit 770 watts during the race!!
