Dr Neil is an independent sleep expert and Author of ‘How to Sleep Well’. He is also the funniest doctor we’ve ever met! With over 38 years experience and a PhD at the University of Surrey, UK, we thought he might have a few useful pointers for helping triathletes improve their sleep and improve their training and racing – what we ended up with was a bucket load of advice on how to get more sleep.
We asked Dr Neil questions including what constitutes a good night’s sleep, the optimum number of hours to sleep each night, why you feel tired after a good night’s sleep, why it’s hard to fall asleep when you know you have to be up in the morning, foods that help you sleep and do sleep analysis tools work?
Grab a cuppa, get comfortable and enjoy!
