If you are involved in long distance swimming in open water then Sarah Thomas is a big deal!
She has completed numerous long distance swims including the longest unassisted swim in 2017 to gain her a world record. It was perhaps her swim in September 2019 which caught the attention of non marathon swimmers, as Sarah became the first person to swim consecutively across the English Channel, 4 times!
